Baby Shower Games
Plan a gentle mix of gift-opening bingo, conversation and seated activities. Check the parent-to-be’s preferences before choosing the format.
Choose a game that fits your group
Gift-opening bingo
Choose gift categories that fit the event. Players mark gifts as they are opened; this is not called-word bingo. If gifts will not be opened, use another game.
Light conversation cards
Use everyday preferences rather than pregnancy advice, body comments or guesses about medical details. Let people pass.
Everyday-object memory tray
Show a tray of safe everyday objects, cover it, then let pairs write what they remember. Keep small objects away from children.
A practical running order
- 5 min: explain the games and offer seated places.
- 10 min: conversation cards while guests arrive.
- 15 min: gift bingo during opening, or memory tray if gifts stay wrapped.
Preparation and adaptations
Do not require guests to buy gifts to join. Materials are general party activities, not parenting or medical advice.
Open each linked material page before the event and check its rules, group size and supplies. Print one test copy on the paper you will use. For a large gathering, give each small table its own rules and materials. Preview long text before printing, and keep a spare pen and a spare copy for the host.
Free printable materials and PDFs
The linked games and materials are free to use. Links open working makers or printable game pages, not a separate themed download bundle. Add your own seasonal wording where the maker supports editing. Choose Print and then Save as PDF in your browser; no account is needed. Some guides use fixed sheets, and the host must supply any personal facts or checked quiz answers.
