Only game materials are printed. Cutting lines are included on card decks.

A mingling game, with room for names

Players find someone who fits a prompt, ask their permission, and write their name in that square. This version prints a name line in each square. There is no caller list because the conversation is the game.

Set the rules before you start

  1. Give each person a card and pen. Choose a row, column or diagonal as the winning pattern.
  2. Decide whether the same person may appear more than once on a card.
  3. Invite players to ask a follow-up question, then move on and meet someone else.
  4. Allow anyone to skip a prompt or decline to have their name written down.

Choose prompts people can answer comfortably

Start with hobbies, preferences and everyday experiences. Remove prompts about health, finances, relationships or anything your group might consider private. For a group that cannot move around, play seated and invite volunteers to respond.

Human bingo or question cards?

Human bingo works when guests can mingle. For a seated meeting or small group, team icebreaker cards give everyone an easier way to take a turn.
